We are a reputable, bright, clean, family owned and operated pawn shop established in 2002. We have been in the jewelry business for over 30 years. All of our employees are G.I.A. (GEMOLOGICAL INSTITUTE OF AMERICA) educated. We have a vast knowledge of diamonds, jewelry, precious metals, fine watches, sterling silverware, electronics, musical instruments, as well as antiques -- to name just a few.
We pride ourselves on being different than most pawn shops. Whether you are selling or need to borrow money against your valuables, we will always be helpful, courteous, and confidential. Please come in and experience Arlington Heights' first and best pawn shop. We are confident that once you experience how we do business, you will never see a need to go anywhere else!
President of the Illinois Pawnbroker's Association
Kelly has been around the jewelry business for the better part of his life. He has spent many years buying and selling to pawn shops. So, when he decided to open this shop in 2002, he knew exactly what he wanted it to be. Friendly, clean, bright, inviting, and staffed with people who really enjoyed the pawn business.
After many years, Kelly has assembled a great staff of knowledgeable, friendly people that love what they do. If he weren't a pawnbroker, he would be a chef.
Andy has always enjoyed buying and selling various items, whether it be all types of music gear, numismatics, or antiques. In addition to collecting coins, he has always enjoyed going to flea markets and garage sales, hoping to find anything that grabbed his eye.
Kelly and Andy first met when he was 15, and his dad was in the store buying instruments. Kelly would show him whatever coins he had gotten in. He is very pleased to be working for someone who had a profound influence on him as a kid and whom he has such respect for. Also, the opportunities and education he has provided him. Andy gets to do what he loves and has learned so much working in the pawn industry.
Melissa was born and raised in the beautiful city of Chicago. She comes from a wonderful Polish family that is very traditional. Her parents sent her to Polish school on Saturdays since first grade and ended up graduating with high honors in High School. Melissa is very thankful that they did because now she reads, writes, and speaks fluently in Polish.
Ever since she was little, she has always liked to try on her mom's jewelry. Especially her mother’s chunky costume jewelry from the '70s and '80s. Now Melissa gets to do it every day at work, only now it's with the real stuff! Melissa loves meeting new people and hearing their stories on the items they bring in. Every day is a new adventure.
