Policy on Responsible Lending

  • Is a Pawn Loan your best financial option?
  • A pawn loan is meant to be a short-term loan designated to assist with your immediate cash deficiency. This type of loan is not meant to be a mortgage. It is a short-term loan designed to help with your immediate cash needs. We encourage you to borrow only what you need.
  • Loan Fees / Costs
  • The finance charge of the loan will be disclosed to you in clear terms when the loan is written up. The principal balance, finance charge for every 30 (thirty) days, and the total amount due by the maturity date will be stated prior to completion of the loan according to federal truth in lending law and regulations. For details on the specific costs of your loan, please contact us and have your ticket number ready. We do not charge Late Fees, however, the finance charge will accumulate upon non-payment. We do not charge any "hidden fees".
  • Minimum Hold Time
  • In order to comply with State and Local Laws, we must hold every item for a minimum of 2 (two) days from the date the loan was received.
  • Late / Non-Payment Consequences
  • If you choose not to make the service payment, or redeem your item by the end of 30 days, by law the loan is automatically extended by an additional 30 days. We do not charge any 'late fees', however the finance charge does accumulate if not paid. If no payment has been made within 60 days and the item is not redeemed, then the loan defaults and the collateral becomes the property of the pawnshop. We do not sell your debt to any debt collector, call or text you, leave messages, or report to any credit agency. If in the case of non-payment, the collateral is forfeited and becomes property of the pawn shop.
  • Refinancing / Renewing A Loan
  • We do not offer an option to refinance your loan. The loan can be renewed by paying the finance charge by the maturity date of the loan
